Wednesday, 3. October 2012 - 1:03 am
The next all-new edition of BUG takes place later this month at the BFI Southbank, and tickets went on sale to BFI members yesterday (October 2nd).
Adam Buxton presents the latest in outstanding work in music video creativity and other new audiovisual nuggets at BUG 33 and BUG 33: The Director’s Cut, on Tuesday, October 23rd and on Friday, October 26th respectively, both at 8.45pm. These shows will undoubtedly include, as described on the BFI website as, “Dr Buckle’s world famous tincture of YouTube comments.” Och, aye.
BFI members can purchase tickets via the BFI website here. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to non-BFI members next Tuesday, October 9th.
If the shows are sold out by then, it’s worth looking out for announcements of further tickets going on sale near the date of the shows, by checking the BUG Facebook page, or subscribing to the e-newsletter by sending your email address to info@bugvideos.co.uk.
More BUG shows coming up are a Fatboy Slim special at the London Film Festival on October 16th – now sold out. Adam is also presenting BUG’s Radiohead special – with Radiohead bandmember Ed O’Brien as his special guest – at the Norwich Playhouse, tomorrow night, October 4th. The show is sold out online, but remaining tickets may be available via the box office on 01603 598598.
Adam then brings the touring version of the regular BUG show to the Norwich Playhouse for two nights next week, on Thursday October 11th, and Friday October 12th. Check here for ticket availability.
