DJ Shadow ‘Listen’ by Franck Trebillac

A dancing couple ‘glide’ effortlessly down the cobbled back-streets of London in Franck Trebillac’s wonderfully cool promo to DJ Shadow’s Listen. The stop-motion extravaganza used thousands of stills to create the brilliant, seamless effect.
“This really was an ambitious project but I like a challenge. I don’t remember the exact number but over 10,000 pictures where taken over the course of 3 long nights,” explains Franck.
“But I was lucky enough to work with an amazing team and everything went smoothly. It’s only when the project was done that I realised that the song was featuring Terry Reid, and to me that was an absolute honour to do a video for two such inspiring artists.”
