CC Steinmetz pulls out all the stops for this slick performance promo for the dynamic and compelling Thunderbird Gerard, who’s energy and charisma on screen is frenetic and compelling. The Czech-German director previously worked on Thunderbird Gerard’s previous video for ‘Leave it all Behind’, and leads this video with some classic split-screen cool and some top production value.
Not only is Thunderbird’s performance thunderous, he’s backed up by three excellent dancers courtesy of from Jay-Z and Will Smith’s Broadway Hit-Musical “Fela!” – including choreographer Nandi Bhebhe.
It must also be added that Thunderbird Gerard must surely must be the first rapper on record to shout out Blur guitarist Graham Coxon.
