In Chris Cottam’s promo for Don Broco’s Actors explores the idea of being fake, in a video where the action switches from dynamic conventional band performance to ‘behind the scenes’ shots of the band at rest.
The performance is crisply shot, with contrasts of light and shade, super slo-motion and frenetic explosions of movement to capture the vitality and energy of the band. The on-screen ‘behind-the-scenes’ material is where the band let their friendly public persona slip…
