To be eligible for a budget award, the video has to have been made for £2000 or its equivalent – and is open to UK and international submissions.
Enter a video for the Best Video, Technical Achievement, Innovation, Music Ad or Live Coverage categories here – and find out more about all the awards at this year’s MVAs here. All Best Video entries will also be automatically entered into the MVA 2012 Video of the Year award.
The final deadline to enter work is midnight BST, August 9th – this Thursday. Among the entries so far received, Best Pop_International, and _Budget, Best Dance_International, and Best Urban_International and _Budget are less well represented, so make sure that outstanding work in these areas of expertise has been entered for the MVA judges’ consideration before the deadline this Thursday.
The first round of judging for this year’s MVAs begins two weeks after the entry deadline – invitations to Jury Members to participate in the online judging round on the MVA judging platform will go out next week. And the UK Music Video Awards 2012 takes place at the Empire Leicester Square on November 8th. Tickets for the show and the aftershow will go on sale next Monday, August 13th, available to book at the MVAs website.
