Surrender Monkeys’ promo to the Pet Shop Boys single Winner focuses on the Rollergirls – an all-female, skater-owned and run roller derby league based in London.
Filmed at York Hall in Bethnal Green, Surrend Monkeys’ promo is specifically about the Rollergirls’ transgender woman Dirty Diana and her initiation into the roller derby.
The video, done with great sensitivity and displaying great team spirit, includes shots of Diana getting ready and preparing for her big day..
