David Wilson’s video for The Sushi Song was shown in episode 2 of Adam Buxton’s BUG on Sky Atlantic earlier this month – a super-sexy affair to match the R&B vibe of Adam’s Sushi Song (produced by Stuart Earl). Or at least as sexy as you can get while singing the praises of raw fish.

Shot at Moshi Moshi Japanese restaurant in Brighton, The Sushi Song celebrates Adam’s passionate love of Japanese food to the extent you may want to rush off to the nearest sushi bar straight after watching it. However, you’re unlikely to enjoy the kind of spectacular action (and views) that Adam enjoys with the sexy Japanese ladies in David’s video. When they’re not wearing sexy fish outfits, they’re shaking delicacies out of their booty into Adam’s delighted face…

And seven brand new videos in all have been made for the TV show (it’s a spin-off of the music video live event BUG, hosted by Adam, of course). Other directors whose work appears in coming shows include David Freymond from L’Ogre, the Layzell Brothers and Dougal Wilson – whilst Garth Jennings’ superb video for Summertime Blues – also now online – featured in Show 1.

And Show 4 of Adam Buxton’s BUG, on Sky Atlantic tonight (July 30th) at 9.30pm, features a brand new video by animation genius Cyriak Harris, together with videos for Oh Land, Etienne De Crecy and Bjork. So give yourself a break from watching Team GB just failing to win medals at the Olympics…
