Jamie Thraves signs to HSI London

Jamie Thraves, one of the UK’s most talented and distinctive directors, has signed to HSI London for music videos and commercials.
As a music video director Jamie (right) has directed acclaimed promos for a range of top artists including Blur, The Verve, Neneh Cherry, Doves, Glasvegas, Dizzee Rascal and Damian Rice, and his videos for Radiohead’s Just and Coldplay’s The Scientist are among the enduring and best-loved videos of the last 20 years.
He has also directed three feature films and several short pieces that have garnered high praise. His short films Scratch, The Take-Out, The Hackney Downs, and I Just Want To Kiss You have won numerous awards, followed by three movies The Low Down, The Cry Of The Owl and last year’s superb Treacle Jnr, reviewed as “funny, touching and gritty. This coolly rendered observation on need and rejection really is a Brit drama to shout about.”
Previously represented by Factory Films in the UK until Factory’s closure last year, and still with Oil Factory Inc in the US, Jamie Thraves now joins HSI London for music videos and commercials in the UK.
