Fitzroy North ‘White Paint’ by Antony Barkworth-Knight

Antony Barkworth-Knight, a Manchester-based director working with video, CGI and animation, finds him 2,232 frames deep in hand-drawn animation (with the help of some sloshings of ink and paint) in his promo for Fitzroy North’s White Paint.
The process of making the video began with actress Cathy Shiel, taking time out from performances on the stage in Manchester, to give a playful dance performance. That became the basis for Antony’s drawings. 2,232 frames later…
