The interconnection of nature, animal instinct and human sexuality gets the full workout in the beautifully crafted, ever absorbing video for Poliça’s Amongster, directed by SaKu.

The band hail from Minneapolis – with Channy Leneagh on vocals – and the director is Italian. But the video was shot in the UK, at Imperial College London’s Silwood Park Campus, produced by Maurizio Zappettini at Claw Films. And they clearly turn a bit of a blind eye to public nudity at Silwood Park…

Its the kind of video that required an on-set entomologist, and reptile specialists, and, says Maurizio, “The beauty and calmness of the video does not begin to tell the story of escaped reptiles, hedgehog bites, and poisonous ticks, not forgetting public nudity! It’s already being called ‘animal porn’ but we won’t comment on that…”
