EMI Records have announced the appointment of Oliver Hammerton as video commissioner and new member of the EMI Creative team. Oliver, who joins the company from Blink Productions where he was head of marketing, replaces Nicola Brown who has gone on to pastures new at 4Creative.
Hammerton will be working with James Hackett covering all frontline project releases across both Parlophone and Virgin Records. Hackett says:
“I’m really happy to have Oliver join the team here, we considered some excellent candidates but in the end decided it would be for the good of us all at EMI, label and artists, to have a fresh take on commissioning that would come from someone new to the job.”
