Aoife McArdle’s Little Comets video wins at Rushes Soho Shorts 2011

The Aoife McArdle-directed video for Little Comets’ The Isles has won the best video award at Rushes Soho Shorts Awards 2011 – held last night (July 28th) at the Curzon Soho.

This stark portrait of modern Britain combines genuine photojournalism with stunning tilt and shift footage, and was produced by Amber Millington at Agile. The video pipped two other finalists – Peter King & David Procter’s Ebsen & the Witch video for Marching Song, and Woodkid’s Iron, directed by Yoann Lemoine – for the award.
