Leading promo and commercials director Sam Brown will now be making his music videos at Rogue – his home for commercials since 2006 – at the heart of the company’s new music video division.
The director of videos for Jay-Z (right), Foo Fighters, Elbow, Clare Maguire, James Blunt, Corinne Bailey Rae and many more, and winner of awards at the MTV VMAs, D&ADs and at last year’s UK Music Video Awards – for his clip for Jay-Z’s On To The Next One – Sam was a mainstay of the promo roster at Flynn Productions until it closed earlier this month. His most recent video, for Adele’s Rolling In The Deep has had over 75 million hits on YouTube.
At Rogue, he has directed directed for Virgin, Audi, BBC and Samsung, and been awarded by BTAA, Creative Circle, Cannes, and won the coveted Pencil for Direction in 2010. Sam and Rogue will be working with Otis Bell at OBmanagement, who will represent Sam Brown for music videos in the UK.
