Annakin’s The Trooper by Christian Ammann

Swiss songstress Annakin and Swiss director/photographer Christian Ammann have created a simple but starkly beautiful video for The Trooper, from the singer’s forthcoming album Icarus Heart (out on Jan 21).
It was shot in Iceland (on possibly the same beach as Dave Ma’s vid for Hurts’ Stay) and features Annakin in some splendid outfits – beginning with an extraordinary parachute dress.

This follows Christian’s video last year for Annakin’s Alive – a mesmerising exercise in style and movement (also styled by Sonya Lennon) which has won several awards, including best video at the London independent film festival and a prize at HDFEST in New York.
