Tell No One’s film Seaweed wins Guggenheim/YouTube Play award

Directing collective Tell No One – that’s Remi Weekes and Luke White – won the first Guggenheim/YouTube Play biennial last week in NYC, for their beautiful 20 second film Seaweed.
The directors, signed to Skin Flicks in the UK, won this prestigious award for their ingenious motion experiment from of a strong shortlist of 25 films that included Terri Timely’s short film Synesthesia, Birdy Nam Nam’s the Parachute Endings by Steve Scott and Will Sweeney, Die Antwoord’s Zef Side by Sean Metelerkamp and I Met The Walrus by Josh Raskin. More than 23,000 films were entered into the competition.
Tell No One recently completed their first official music video commission for Mystery Jets’ Tell No One.
