Factory Films sign Andrea Colomb

Andrea Colomb, co-director of the excellent video for Killa Kela’s Everyday (right), has joined the directors roster at Factory Films.

Having worked as a researcher for directors at RSA Films, Factory and other production companies since she graduated from the University of Westminster in 2007, Andrea has gone on to direct music videos for the likes of Circus Town, the aforementioned Killa Kela’s Everyday – a one-shot crowd scene audaciously filmed in Old Compton Street in Soho – and fashion films for JW Anderson.

She joins a directing roster at Factory containing some of the biggest names in British music videos over the past twenty years, including Sophie Muller, WIZ, Jamie Thraves, Dom & Nic, John Hillcoat, and AlexandLiane.

“Since working with Andrea as a researcher and noting her drive and enthusiasm for music videos it became clear she had to be signed,” says Toby Hyde, co-MD of Factory. “Her work with London’s top directors has given Andrea an innate understanding of film making and an enviable learning curve, which combined with her passion for music suggests a promising future in music videos. We don’t sign anyone we don’t believe in and Andrea has what it takes.”
