Following their remarkable video for Marz, Ewan Jones Morris and Casey Raymond interpret their second song from John Grant’s brilliant, highly confessional solo debut album Queen Of Denmark – featuring the singer himself, in a superhero costume, experiencing humiliation and emotional turmoil along the way.
Like the music, there’s a dark emotional undercurrent here, and like Marz, a stark collision of reality and fantasy. Adding the contribution of John Grant himself – and making it was actually a traumatic experience for him – it’s another extraordinary work, confirming a very special kind of chemistry between the singer and the directors.
