Alexander Brown – subject of an article on new directing talent in the current SHOTS magazine – gets his teeth into the slacker rock vibe of Matthew P’s Gilly. Set in an American-style diner (actually Ace Cafe in London) Brown coaxes good performances from the assembled cast to compliment the breezy track.
