Lindy Heymann’s Kicks on general release on June 4th

Lindy Heymann’s movie Kicks goes on release at selected British cinemas tomorrow, June 4th.
A powerful thriller about two teenage girls’ obsession with a Premier League footballer that spirals out of control, the film features newcomers Kerrie Hayes (Nowhere Boy, Brighton Rock) and Nichola Burley (Donkey Punch, StreetDance), was filmed in Liverpool – evocatively shot by Eduard Grau (A Single Man) – and features music by Ladytron.
Kicks was officially selected for the Edinburgh and London Film Festivals last year, and both director Lindy Heymann and writer Leigh Campbell were nominated for the best British newcomer award at the LFF.
Kicks is playing selected ODEON cinemas in London, Liverpool and Manchester for seven days. Watch the trailer, and check for times and further screenings here.
