Kids In Glass Houses’ Undercover Lover by Tom King
Thursday, 27. May 2010 - 11:45 am

Tom King marks up his second promo for Welsh rockers Kids In Glass Houses with this lively video for Undercover Lover.
For this outing, the band ditch their usual rock attire for sharp suits and slick hair with Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays adding some pop glamour and guest vocals. It’s a band performance with a touch of Alice In Wonderland narrative.
“I could have spent all day disappearing into wardrobes, keyholes and back out through pocket watches’ says King. “When I was putting the idea together, I wanted a touch of ‘War Of The Roses’ narrative mixed with some Tim Pope-esque camera moves. It was great fun to shoot. I think Frankie secretly enjoyed being let loose to cause some havoc…and she’s certainly dangerous with a pair of scissors!”

Love it – nifty directing, sharp styling and a great grade.
Although Frankie and her fringe can really do no wrong in my book…
