Ben Newman joins Between The Eyes

Ben Newman, whose videos for Example, Wiley and others over the past year have marked him out as one of the most promising new directing talents working in music video, has finally joined the roster of an established promo production company, signing to Between The Eyes.
Ben has joined Between The Eyes for music videos, and as with other BTE directors will now be represented by OBManagement. Ben came to the attention of Promo News with his video for Bombay Bicycle Club early last year, and has gone to direct two acclaimed videos for Example, Hooligans – which was nominated at last year’s MVAs in one of the Best Budget Video categories – and the remix version of Watch The Sun Come Up (top right). Recently he’s directed the kinetic clip for Wiley’s Take That (above).
Ben has also written and directed the impressive short film War School, which was shortlisted at the 2009 Raindance Film Festival for Best Short. He has joined Between The Eyes for music videos, commercials and other projects, and as with the rest of the BTE roster is now represented for promos through OBManagement.

I’ve been following this guy, he’s on the way to becoming a BIG name in the music industry. Brilliant talent.
