New Davey Inc signing Alexander Brown – formerly of directing partnership Ruth Render – creates various vignettes of domestic tension for this new offering from indie rockers The Maccabees, to powerful effect.
Teaming up with Brit hopper Roots Manuva, the pensive Empty Vessels is released to coincide with the band’s headline slot on the forthcoming NME Awards tour.

human angst and all that. Captured very well but i can’t help thinking this video is far too similar to this:

a skinny white kid weight lifting in a tower block bedroom etc. it’s all too familiar. That said i still like the above video, but i feel it’s a little unoriginal
