Saam’s clever sliding-split-screener is the official video of Cheryl’s new single, but Vincent Haycock has directed the officially-sanctioned viral version for 3 Words.
Atmospheric, cinematic and romantic – in the style of HK master Wong Kar-wei – it was shot by Vince and his estimable DoP Matthias Koenigswieser “on the only rainy night in Los Angeles in six months.”
After his excellent vids for MSTRKRFT and Miike Snow, another superb character-driven work.
