The Bravery’s Slow Poison by BuckAnother spaceman is in trouble – in a galactic disco. Design/direction outfit Buck created this spaced-out outer space adventure having been alerted to a film by Californian cult Unarius, unearthed by Bravery lead singer Sam Endicott.

“What we loved about the film was definitely the retro production value,” says Orion Tait, Buck creative director. “It had this amazing sense of light and glitter and a real disco aesthetic. We’re all science-fiction nerds, so it was fun to just jump back into that stuff. We thought about it like we were filmmakers in the ’70s who’ve watched 2001 way too many times and taken way too many drugs.”

“We knew we didn’t want this to be overly slick or super computer-generated,” explains Buck creative director Ryan Honey. “We wanted it to feel like it was made at that time, that it didn’t feel overly produced but still had some sophistication to it.”
