BBC Music Shorts: Metronomy's On Dancefloors by Ninian DoffColonel Blimp produced two New Music Shorts for the BBC to coincide with the recent Electric Proms – both produced, in fact, by Sarah Tognazzi. Here’s the one directed by editor and part-time director of videos, comedy shorts and skate vids Ninian Doff.

Metronomy’s On Dancefloors is the track used for Ninian’s cute film starring Rich Fulcher (of Mighty Boosh fame) as the sovereign of his own strange little world. Very cute.

John! Please don’t tell me this is your last job at Blimp. I want to see you go out with a bang, not a whimper x

actually, i am not sure if hassay produced this or not, but he was there, on the bbc meeting with the shortlisted directors. he was the cool one, said a lot of ‘fucks’

Great video. How to dance on another planet. Really original. Loved it.

Whimper? I think Eliot would have liked this, had he lived in modern times. It’s real, not slick and reflects imagination and a great range of skills. I hope Sarah and Ninian can develop this fruitful relationship.
