Top director Edgar Wright has just been confirmed as the special guest at BUG: The Evil-ution Of Music Video – BUG’s horror-themed special Halloween show next Saturday night (October 31st) at BFI Southbank in London.

Edgar, the writer/director of classic ‘zom-rom-com’ Shaun Of The Dead, the brilliant Hot Fuzz, seminal TV comedy Spaced, and the forthcoming Scott Pilgrim vs The World (and much more) will join host Corin Hardy on stage at NFT1 to discuss his love of horror, its influence on his work and introduce a horror- and exploitation-orientated selection of clips from his movies and music videos – including the exclusive presentation of a superb Edgar-directed rarity.

Edgar is the special guest in a show of the most enjoyably horrifying and monstrous vids from the annals of modern music video – from well-known classics to lesser-known gems. That’s immediately followed by a Halloween costume party in the BFI’s Benugo bar – the audience are invited to attend in appropriate Halloween garb for the show and the aftershow party.
