Remi Nicole’s Standing Tears Apart by Harvey
Wednesday, 16. September 2009 - 1:20 pm
Taken from Nicole’s poptastic brand new Cupid Shoot Me album, director Harvey had this to say about the shoot:
“I was instantly charmed by the track. It has that 1960’s girl group influence but feels unique because it mixes Doo-Wap with a sort of 1980’s vibe. The aim was to make a video that would make people smile; so we included a mixture of puppies, kids, pie fights, discos, bubble baths, pop corn, curlers, shoes, handbags, dancing in the streets – everything really!
The entire cast was made up of both mine and Remi’s family and friends. Our
nephews and nieces gave stellar performances. It was great to witness their
sheer delight of having a cream pies smooshed in their faces. These were the
moments that make you smile that the video was about. Ultimately I wanted something honest and heart felt that makes you feel good”.

I you managed to get all that done in one day you’ve done very very well. What would we do without the Roost, eh?
