Lindy Heymann’s Kicks premiere at Edinburgh this Saturday

Top pop video director Lindy Heymann has directed the latest Take That vid. She’s also got a new movie coming out.
The world premiere of Lindy’s powerful thriller Kicks takes place at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2009 this Saturday, 20 June at 21.30 at Cineworld 6. There’s a second screening at the Filmhouse next Friday, 26 June,and they are both preceded by a press and industry screening tomorrow, 19 June, at 13.15 at Cineworld 6.
Kicks, about two teenage girls’ obsession with a Premier League footballer that spirals out of control, has been nominated for the Michael Powell Award and is an official selection at this year’s EIFF. It receives its first London screening at Soho Screening Rooms on Thursday 25 June.
