Superb, full-on riot of a performance video for Example and Don Diablo by Ben Newman. And what’s more, he shot it on a stills camera.
“Example approached me and said that both he and Don wanted a performance video,” explains Ben, also director of vids for The 9000 and Bombay Bicycle Club. “I didn’t want to make it a standard club promo so I added some extremely caricature elements. I think it works well and everyone seemed pleased with the outcome.”
“The video was shot entirely on the Canon 5D mark 2. I was extremely happy with the results, its amazing that we could shoot a video over a day with what is essentially a stills camera.”
