It’s dramatic and well executed, and Scott provides a brooding, anti-heroic presence too. And like all spaghetti westerns, it wasn’t shot anywhere near Monument Valley. Mind you, it wasn’t shot in Spain either, but in the unsunny English Midlands.
“We filmed the video in one day, using a stunt horse, birds of prey, a stunt man suspended from a cliff face with poor access and relentless 30mph winds,” Nick explains. “Suffice to say it was a challenging shoot for all involved, but with the opportunity to capture something so beautiful. A very worthwhile expedition.”
And demonstrating his versatility, Nick has also just directed a more than usually hetero Top Gun spoof for MoS’s Star Pilots.
